Cop17 Climate Justice Rally and Concert

Catering Supreme once again teamed up with Makhulu Events to host the"We Have Faith - Climate Justice Rally and Concert" at the Mr Price Kings Park Rugby Stadium on Sunday, 27 November 2011. 

Catering Supreme supplying all the VIPs, guests' and performers finger foods for +- 850 people and Makhulu Events coordinating the day's events.

The Concert and Rally was aimed at generating awareness around the Cop17 International Delegation Summit, which is being held right here in sunny Durban. The guests in attendence were royally entertained by the likes of Ladysmith Black Mambaso, Arno Carstens, Juliani, HHP, Yvonne Chaka Chaka and Shabalala Rhythms.

Some of the VIPs in attendence were our very own Vice President Kgalema Motlanthe and Archbishop Desmond Tutu along with other delegates involved in the Cop17 Summit.

Quoting the main speaker, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu, "This is the only home. If you destroy it, its finished" and "God wanted us to live in a garden, not a desert."

Catering Supreme would like to echo these sentiments and trusts that those involved at the Cop17 Summit will take heed and listen to these simple, yet profound words and make the necessary changes required to save our planet and create a lasting legacy for our children.
