Skills and Hygiene
Apart from the permanent staff compliment the company provides casual employment on a regular basis as the need arises. A training program has also been embarked upon to increase the staff's skill levels and in so doing, increasing their earning power.
Catering Supreme currently employs an independent in-house training service provider to do continuous skills upliftment courses, i.e.:hygiene, health and safety, knife skills, customer interaction skills, etc.
Geo Chem, a company that is a HACCP skills service provider, undertakes regular inspections with written reports that are addressed and kept on file, manages the hygiene aspect of the kitchen.
A second independent company, Biologic, provides Catering Supreme with quarterly health audits, i.e.: hand and kitchen swabs, fridge, freezer and heater temperature gauging.
